Just as Boston University was founded "in the heart of the city, in the service
of the city," BU’s OCF is committed to serving our community.
Clothing Drive
Each fall, we sponsor a Clothing and Canned Food Drive to benefit Holy Resurrection’s
soup kitchen. For the past two years, we have been very successful, collecting over
twenty five bags of hats, gloves, mittens, scarves and jackets, not to mention dozens
of boxes of canned food.
Weekly Community Service
Beginning Fall ’07, BU’s OCF will be participating in weekly community service trips
such as working at soup kitchens or volunteering at the Philoxenia House.
